Anyway, these are all costume designs for various aspects of Fichinan nomad life for my Lylat System fanon. I shall begin the descriptions, from left to right:

1: Adult Common Male Nomad. Simple every day male costume for life on the snowy fields without details like a hat or cloaks.

2: Adult Common Male Casual. Every day male costume when visiting other planets or towns, or generally something to wear when the nomad coats get cumbersome.

3: Male Hunter. A common male hunter. Fichinan hunters are among the best in Lylat, and are masters of tracking, waiting, and hiding. Think of them as Inuit-Mongol-Ninjas. Covered in furs.

4: Nomad Fichinan Orthodox Monk. A monk for one of Fichina's 3 major religons in nomad wear for the cold. Fichinan Orthodox is a highly spiritual variation of Christianity, created by the fusion of old nomadic shamanism and Orthodox Christianity brought to the nomads by missionaries. It is the most common religon on Fichina, though it has been shunned by both other sects of Christianity and by super-traditional shamans.

5: Shaman. A simple Fichinan shaman. While there are several minorities in the "shaman" religon, shamanism itself is a minority religon, practiced by few Fichinan's this day and age, and the differences between them are minute. Also, I didn't want to draw 1000 slightly different shamen either. Anyway, in a "typical" Fichinan shaman, the fur as been shaved, the eyes blinded and the ears and tongue cut off as well as no permition to wear shoes. This is said to heighten a shaman's connection with the spirit world, as he is considered "invalid" in the physical world. Whether or not this works is your opinnion, but one can not deny their devotion to the unknown.

6: Orthodox Priest. A Priest of the Orthodox Church (Greek/Russian/Eastern/Romanian, doesn't matter). Not much more to say for him, as they exist on Earth. Orthodox Christianity is the second largest religon of Fichina.

7: Common Adult Female Nomad. Female counterpart to the common adult nomadic male.

8: Common Adult Female Casual. Female counterpart to the common casual adult male.

9: Nomadic Male Tribal Cheif. The tribes of Fichina are largely ununified, resulting in hundreds, possibly thousands of tribes, each different from another, making it "impossible" to have a "general" cheif design. However, there are a great deal of "large" tribes, most of which are similar in some way or another. This is the nomadic cheiftain wear of the Khutulun tribe, the largest tribe in all of Fichina.

10: Formal Male Tribal Cheif. When formalities on another world are up, the nomad cheif switches to a more comfortable, yet still ethical look. Still the Khutulun cheif.

RANDOM DETAILS AND NOTES:

1: Yes, I forgot to design a "non nomadic" Fichinan Orthodox monk. >{

2: I didn't design children because their costumes are mostly the same as adult costumes. Just smaller. Likewise, I didn't design soldiers for the same reason I didn't draw 1000 different shamen: They vary from tribe to tribe. Also, they mostly just look like hunters anyway.

3: The major influences in Fichinan culture are Mongolian, Russian, Romanian, Chinese and Slavic, with minor influences from things like Inuits and Tibet.

4: The model for the common male is the son of my Venonium Drago Skarrde, Dracul Skarrde. The model for the female is a younger looking version of Drago's wife, Claudia. The Khutulun cheif is an actual minor character in my fanon, Bayar Adamska. The Orthodox priest was based off a military chaplain.

5: The word Khutulun is the name of Kublai Khan's neice, who was hilariously similar to my Mongolian character, Lyn. They said she would challenge suitors to wrestling matches and would only marry who could best her, with a wager of 100 horses. She gained 10 000 horses and never married. She often worked with her father, Khaidu, on military campaigns.
